    To find out more about the company’s history and its future ambitions, we talk to Memac Ogilvy & Mather Holding’s CEO and Chairman, Edmond Moutran. What prompted you to establish Memac in Bahrain? I started Memac at a time when both I, and the marketing market in Bahrain were young. I was working for another advertising agency at the time and felt like I could do more, so I started my own agency. Meanwhile, Bahrain City Centre, Created in 2008 it is their Kingdom’s biggest multi use development project which occupies three-levels assuming an area of 450,000 sqm located on the water front of Seef district.

    Eddie Moutran calls for advertising companies to merge in order to compete

    Eddie Moutran, Chairman and CEO of Memac Ogilvy, talked in an interview about the industry of advertising, saying that in Saudi Arabia citizens used to follow up only with limited media means like Bahrain TV and Aramco Saudi, mentioning that they started using satellite broadcasting in 90′s, in line with launching MBC center.

    Memac Ogilvy Label Tunisia Awarded First Grand Prix in MENA Region at the 2012 Clio Awards in New-York

    Memac Ogilvy Label has become the first Arab regional agency to win a Grand Prix at the Clio Awards in New York. The Tunisia-based agency won in the Innovative Media category for its “Return of Ben Ali” campaign for “Engagement Citoyen”, which also collected twelve Gold Awards across multiple categories at the Dubai Lynx Awards in March 2012.
