Ihaveanidea announces Memac Oglivy as ‘Portfolio Night 8 Host’ in Beirut

Ihaveanidea, the world’s first and largest community of the international ad-vertising industry, proudly announces Memac Ogilvy as Host of Portfolio Night 8 in Beirut.

This year Portfolio Night 8 is scheduled to occur around the world on May 20th 2010.

Ihaveanidea’s Portfolio Night is the largest simultaneous advertising portfolio review ever held in the world, featuring a uniquely designed portfolio review process in a ‘speed-dating’ setting. The event helps students and aspiring young creatives around the world break into the ad indus-try and involve the top creative directors in each participating city.

Memac Ogilvy CEO, Edmond Moutran, stressed on the agency’s fervent and continuous commit-ment to the advancement and development of young talent across the Middle East and said, “Af-ter the success of last year edition of Portfolio Night and in order to ensure that we reach the largest number of talents, we have decided to host Portfolio Night8 in seven of our key offices in the region: for the second time in Beirut, Dubai, Tunis and for the first time in Egypt, Kuwait, KSA and Bahrain.”

Portfolio Night 8 will see hundreds of industry professionals mentoring aspiring creatives in cit-ies like Athens, Atlanta, Barcelona, Beirut, Brussels, Cairo, Chicago, Dubai, Dublin, Frankfurt, Hel-sinki, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Kuwait, Lisbon, London, Los Angeles, Manama, Melbourne, Mexico City, Milan, Mumbai, New York, Philadelphia, Quebec City, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Shanghai, Stock-holm, Taipei, Toronto and Tunis.

Students enrolled in advertising programs, recent graduates, and up-and-coming creatives will have the opportunity to spend valuable face-to-face time with their city’s most prestigious creative directors. Young creatives are encouraged to attend this event in one of the participating cities to have the oppor-tunity to speak with three or more world-class creative directors..
