Ogilvy & Mather Demonstrates Social Media Expertise
Beirut, April 20, 2012 – Ogilvy & Mather, one of the largest marketing communications companies in the world, revealed its social media expertise during Bahrain International e-Government Forum 2012 as part of Jeff Chertack, MD of Ogilvy PR Belgium, visit to Bahrain to present a session on ‘Social Media and Citizen Engagement’.
Head of Social@Ogilvy is the global, cross-discipline team of social experts from across all of Ogilvy’s businesses, Chertack joined an esteemed list of established speakers covering the fields of e-Governance and ICT at the forum and addressed on the impact of social media and real, proven best practices of it to become successful.
During his session, Chertack highlighted how social media is taking hold across the world and how it’s changing corporations market by building customer relationships, managing reputation and running their businesses.
Alongside the forum, Chertack also participated in a special social media workshop organized at the offices of Memac Ogilvy & Mather in Bahrain. The workshop hosted key clients and other Bahrain-based companies who are interested in enhancing their social media presence. Chertack led the workshop and focused on the huge impact social media has on the marketing world and the best ways to use it for business.
